बेंगळुरु | चांद्रयान – २ संदर्भात खुशखबर इस्त्रोचे प्रमुख के. सिवन यांनी दिली आहे. सिवन यांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार विक्रम लँडरचे स्थान समजले आहे. चंद्राभोवती फिरणाऱ्या ऑर्बिटरने विक्रमचा थर्मल फोटो पाठवला आहे. मात्र, अद्याप विक्रमशी संपर्क झालेला नाही, असे देखील सिवन यांनी सांगितले. आता लवकरच विक्रमशी संपर्क साधण्याचे प्रयत्न सुरू आहेत, असे सिवन म्हणाले.

येत्या १४ दिवस विक्रम लँडरशी संपर्क साधण्याचा प्रयत्न केला जाईल. आणि ऑर्बिटरकडून मिळणारी माहिती अतिशय महत्त्वाची असेल, असे सिवन यांच्याकडून सांगण्यात आले आहे. चंद्रावर उतरण्यासाठी केवळ दोन किलोमीटरचे अंतर शिल्लक असताना विक्रम लँडरचा संपर्क तुटला. विक्रम लँडरचे चंद्रापासून २.१ किलोमीटर अंतरावर असताना त्याचे काम व्यवस्थित सुरू होते. त्यानंतर विक्रम लँडरचा इस्रोसोबतचा संपर्क तुटला.
